Daniel Valdez, PA-C

"I was born and raised in Douglas, I’ve lived in Arizona my whole life. In college, I was trained in playing classical music with guitar, studied psychology and education - earning my B.A. from the University of Arizona. But I realized that I belong in healthcare and pursued a career as a physician assistant. While gaining community volunteer/ service experience and gaining four years’ experience working as a licensed nursing assistant, I earned the equivalent of a Pre-Med Post Baccalaureate at the University of Arizona. I earned my master’s degree (MPAS) at Northern Arizona University PA program downtown Phoenix shared campus with the University of Arizona College of Medicine.  In my career as a PA,  I was inspired to work in Infectious Disease during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am fully licensed and NCCPA board certified. My work ethic is detail-oriented along with patient education - spending the time to answer any questions that may arise. In my free time, I enjoy hiking Arizona’s trails such as in Madera canyon and the Chiricahuas, playing guitar, learning new things, cooking, and staying healthy with exercise."
