Sara Hamal, FNP-C, is a board-Certified Family Nurse practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Sara completed her Bachelor's in Science in Nursing in 2013 and Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Medicine, in 2020 from Grand Canyon University. Prior to practicing as an FNP, Sara worked as a registered nurse in the greater Phoenix area. She gained a variety of experience in clinical settings during her nursing career including pediatrics, medical-surgical, and Oncology before transitioning into Infectious Disease.

Sara is culturally sensitive, personable and compassionate and an advocate for holistic care. At heart, communication, trust, and empathy are the key elements of her training. She strives to treat each patient with the same kind of care and compassion that she would want for her own family members.

Originally from Nepal, she has been living in Arizona since 2005 with her husband and 12-year-old son. She likes to spend time with her extended families around Phoenix and volunteer in a variety of community and social activities. She is also a health and fitness enthusiast.
